Postcard Perfect # 29: St. Andrews University, Scotland

GB-257897
Sender: David

University of St. Andrews is the first University of Scotland and the third oldest in the world.  It was founded in 1433.  More information here.

I was grinning ear to ear because this is my first card from Scotland.  David the sender is just so happy to share this postcard because he read in my profile that I am wishing to receive cards from a list of countries and Scotland is one of them.

  1. I think it was at St. Anrews Universities where Will and Kate met.

  2. wow, interesting. What i love in Scotland is their cultural attire. A pleated stripe skirt for male but very manly.

  3. It pays to spend time writing what you like and what kind of postcards you like to read in your profile! By the way, I used to get upset about the folds, tears and smudges on the postcards but then I realised these tears and folds and such just tell us how much they have traveled. In a way, they’re like badges ^.^
