Postcrossing Card US # 1140109
Sender:  Mary

She wrote at the back of the card:

“Hello Arlene, when you said in your profile that you are passionate about photography, I knew what to send you!  This is my photo of the John Lennon Memorial in Cnetral Park of New York City.  Are you a Beatles fan?  Keep taking lots of pictures! Happy Postcrossing.”

Yes I am a Beatles fan and some of their songs are the first worldly songs  (non gospel songs) we learned when we were still very young. ^^

Stamps Mary used are:

A USP 2009 definitive issue.

A commemorative of Negro Leagues Baseball and founder Rube Foster released on July 15, 2010.   This is one of the two collectible postage stamps issued as baseball commemorative stamps.

LONGFELLOW – a 2007 commemorative issue for the honor  of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.

I love the song iMAGINe and here’s leaving you the music to enjoy.  Grab from youtube dot com.
